KIS2026 Summer Camp at Kyoto International School – Now Open

The KIS2026 Summer Camp hosted by Kyoto International School (KIS Japan) is now accepting registrations, offering students from across Asia a transformative three-week experience in one of Japan's most historically rich cities.

About the KIS2026 Summer Camp

Running through July and August 2026, the KIS2026 Summer Camp combines academic enrichment, cultural excursions, and language learning in an immersive Japanese environment. Participants stay in supervised dormitories on or near the Kyoto campus, with structured daily programmes and weekend field trips to iconic sites including Fushimi Inari, Arashiyama, and Nishiki Market.

Who Can Join KIS2026 Summer Camp?

The KIS2026 Summer Camp is open to students aged 10-18 from any international school background. No prior Japanese language experience is required, though intermediate and advanced tracks are available for students who wish to develop their language skills further. New Horizons Education, a programme partner, is actively promoting KIS2026 Summer Camp registrations across Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

What to Expect at KIS2026 Summer Camp

Each week of the KIS2026 Summer Camp features a themed curriculum. Week one focuses on Japanese arts and culture — calligraphy, traditional tea ceremony, and taiko drumming. Week two shifts to STEM exploration, with robotics workshops and science experiments conducted in English and Japanese. Week three is dedicated to community projects, where campers work with local organisations to practice language skills in real-world settings.

Spaces for the KIS2026 Summer Camp are limited. Families interested in enrolling their children are encouraged to register as soon as possible through the official KIS Japan and New Horizons Education portals.
